I was wondering the same thing lol. That's why I asked about hyper-threading because thats supposed to kind of make it into a quad core.

Hyper threading is not used by games. That's why an i7 is a waste to buy over an i5 for gaming

Skyrim, heavily modded. 2% CPU usage due to game pausing when alt-tabbed.

You will actually find that any game that supports multi threading will utillize all threads.

BF3 would use all 12 threads on my old 3960X though the CPU load would be very low.
