Plans to bring the German company's products to international markets alongside its own Vengeance range. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2012/08/15/corsair-buys-raptor/1
I was thinking exactly the same thing. They are becoming more and more diverse every year it seems and the products they are producing are indeed very good.
Hmm... look at Gigabyte, they produce cases, mice, keyboards etc aswell. Anyways, Raptor is not exactly a AAA-purchase. Might be that they bought them for some patents or whatever.
" the Razor products will be sold alongside the Vengeance line as a complementary offering." I guess it should be "Raptor products"?
Hopefully one of the first things they do is re-create Raptor's website, having a free .webnode.com site doesn't look all that professional. The design isn't fabulous either. Looking at most of Raptors products they seem to very closely resemble competitors products. This chap right here is one of the more obvious ones http://raptor-gaming.webnode.com/products/raptor-gaming-m1-iron/ I wonder if that sort of thing will still fly now they are owned by a very big player in the industry.
The best product they ever had was a simple rebrand of Cherry G80-1800 series keyboard in their Raptor K1.
