Hello all, What is your favorite mouse? My G500 has shat itself and I would like to try something different without a clue of what else is worth looking at. cheers, dizzi
Generally happy with my Rat3. Lot nicer than my old nostromo n30 was. Find the side buttons sit a little further back than i'd ideally want, but doesn't take too long to get used to. Quite expensive for a mouse though, but a lot cheaper than some out there.
Really depends on what you're looking to spend. G500's seem really popular so you could get another if you liked it? I use a Mionix Naos 5000 and love it, it's £60 though.
I am a bit loved up with Corsair at the mo and this would match my keyboard... Anyone got any comments about it?
My Horrendously dirt-cheap A4Tech Oscar X-748K, 3200DPI, Macro button, five buttons. It's lasted, what, Six years so far? Possibly more? Only cost me £17 new, feels reasonably solid, hasn't fallen apart. Although it is starting to get a bit buggy from old age, but that's a hell of a lifespan on a dirt cheap mouse!
Rofl. If only I hadn't messed up right click and decided that 3200DPI isn't fast enough. The Software is a bit of a pig, but it works, and doesn't hog anything more than about a meg of memory. It was designed for, like, Original Counter Strike and the matching machines, after all. EDIT: Wait... Thinking about it... I had this mouse back when I had that Celeron D Packard Bell piece of junk... Yeah. I bought this mouse in 2003/4. Damn.
Was just reading the bit review about it... got slated for a bug that I would hope has been fixed by now
It really has! I love mine more than my MX revolution Mk1! No point in buying anything but Logitech, I tried Roccat and Cyborg, both ****.
I'm enjoying my R.A.T. 7 so far, it's bordering on being my favorite mouse ever. The Razer Diamondback 3G (and by extention the Copperhead and Krait with similar frames) I owned before it still has yet to be beat on comfort, but the side buttons weren't placed too well and I could only use one comfortably. The RAT, being adjustable, has them just where I like. Another important feature is having very light buttons, it's not something most people think about, but once you've used it you notice it very quickly. Really helps reduce fatigue on long gaming sessions.
