just got ati tool for my 9800pro (bored) and i heard that some 128 9800's can have the r360 core - when i check the settings - where it says core - is that what the physical card says it is or what bios says it is???

ati tool just assumes if you have a 9800pro its an R350 core, and if you have a 9800xt its a r360 core..

Taking off the cooler and having a look is the best way to find out ;)

Or if you do a BIOS dump through ATITool it says somewhere in there what the card actually is.
