Got PS3, games and loads of cash for birthday, but wanna get SDD for the PS3 but dont know which one to get?
Depends on how much storage space you need? I'd wait for the prices to drop for another 6 months or so at least. You will need minimum 128GB depending on your usage and ideally 256MB. These are way to expensive to make any real difference. Most PS3-specific games are optimised to run off the Blu-Ray and others combine with the hard Disk when an install is required. They are made to run on any PS3 and display the same. Loading times may be quicker on certain games but when playing you won't notice the difference at all. I just upgraded my HDD instead to a 7,200 speed and bigger capacity. But pretty much any SSD (I'm sure you meant SSD and not SDD) will work in the PS3 if you really want to go ahead.
Putting a SSD into a PS3 is a total waste. Look for a decent 2,5" HDD to stuff into your PS3, as this will result in better performance for a bargain. I've installed this one -> http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/500G...ck-25-HDD-SATA-3Gb-s-7200rpm-16MB-Cache-12-ms and it's noticable faster.
