    Can some one rec'd a "Best Buy" and "Performance" ATI card to go here

    Thanks mr Tad I had already put the Sapphire X800 GTO2 in Value...yes I know you can flash the card to unlock :)

    X1800XT 512mb for performance - OK, any pref in brand?

    wouldnt call a £130+ card "budget" exactly, would have thought something like X700 to slot in there :confused:

    The make of the card with the X1800XT doesnt make a great deal of difference really

    6600GT for Budget tbh. They're well good! :)
    And cheap if you know what your doing.

    an ATI 6600GT?
    hmm

    Although i fail to see the point of seperating graphics categories into ATI and nVidia. User preference shouldn'y come into it when someone is after the best they can get for the money.

    Whoops. I'm so like half asleep.
    Surely a X800GTO is cheap enough, you can get a Powercolor one for £88 from OCUK!

    hmm, i was thinking the budget system would be a bit cheaper

    in that case:

    GTO/GTO2 for budget
    X1800XL middle
    X1800XT 512 top

    Might as well put in the X1900XTX for the top, as it will be available on tuesday i think :naughty:
