Graphics What to play on a 980

    Hi folks.

    I'm lucky enough to have a GTX 980 on review loan for a month.

    I'm reviewing it for productivity apps, but it does occur to me that I can't be doing that absolutely all day, now can I.

    All I have installed is War Thunder, Elite: Dangerous, and World of Tanks. What's pretty? I mean really pretty, that would exercise a really nice graphics card?

    Far Cry 4 is a very pretty game if you can get it running right (tends to be SLI that stops it running well so you'll be fine with one card)

    Another vote for Crysis 3. No other dev has managed to get such complex facial models into a game yet.

    I actually don't own the game (I might have played through it on my old 670 though ;)), but I'm tempted to pick it up again on the cheap just to really stress out my 980.

    4K DSR (or native) on Crysis 3 maxed out with the highest AA setting possible....


    Realise you are going to have to borrow at least 2 more to make the experience playable...
