A long time did not do anything so I decided to do something again.

Let me know if you need help creating an appropriate Samurize config for that LCD screen.

 

Probably how you can help with the Samurize willing to accept this help. 800x480 LCD.
And thank you for your comments. Although much remains to be done yet in this modification. The entire interior will be similarly modified, motherboard, graphics card and water cooling.

 

I can help you design a really nice Doom-style display of your system stats to put on that small TFT screen. Here's an example of what I did on the 5" TFT in the front bezel of my old PC (not Doom style, but you get the idea):

As you notice, it can calculate flow if you hook one up a flow sensor to a spare fan header.

For your mod we could for instance display system stats in the style of the health/score statistics in the ribbon at the bottom of the Doom screen.



But we could do anything at all, really. We could take your display:



And make it functional. Samurize has a WYSIWYG editor so it's really easy once you get into it, but having some PhotoShop skills for graphical embellishment also helps.

Did I mention how much I love this project? It pushes all my computer games nostalgia buttons. Doom and Quake are always the first games I install on any PC I build. It's a ritual.
