Howdy For years now I've replaced numerous screens on iphones and a few ipods. Other week was asked to change teh screens on 2 ipod 4th gens. Ordered some screens, fitted one, wored, gave it back. Started next one screen worked for a couple seconds then it stays white, ebay seller gives refund as faulty. Ordered from another supplier, fit screen.......same thing!!! I refit the cracked screen and it works fine so it's not the ipod. They're both the correct screens so what is it? The only thing i noticed was the oringinal screen LCD model is 821-1125-b, the repalcements are 821-1125-a Can this really make a difference? Cheers
do you have an account with target components? they had a problem with some of their screens, so sourced a different supplier, and don't have any compatibility issues now, (it was to do with ios update)
