    what outage? wow do these people have 1 email account or something.

    you have 5-6 and redirect it to 1 for easy management.

    and if one starts getting spam you can remove forwarding and stop using it

    there's always offline i have a copy of all my emails downloaded and syncs every time im online

    I was at work at that time, so it didn't effect me, besides, it's not the end of the world if you can't access your emails.

    Why bother posting a news article about something that happened yesterday for a very short period of time and only affected the web client of some accounts.

    Only in the UK & Germany, B1GBUD - elsewhere is still gmail, and you can still get a "@gmail" address if you sign up by proxy :)

    Not overly concerned about the odd couple of hours. My first thought was "but then, if I was a big company, this might be more critical to me". Then I recalled how long it took Dell support to respond to my emails a little while back and thought "nah, screw 'em".

    ooohhh thats what happened. I did try to login at that time. It's @gmail for me B1GBUD. We have members from all over the world here on this site, and @gmail is the more common know name.

    Arghhh! I just crawled out of my fall-out shelter to discover the world hadn't collapsed after all... Only to realize that my Wi-fi of course doesn't reach through the concrete and steel that the shelter is constructed from blocks all signals.

    Or... whatever :D
