It's always cool to know what is inside products, especially that when you can't look because of warranty or just don't have the time to do so. I have a pair of broken Logitech Z-3 speakers... well they are broken so let's look inside! At the end I have found a website which looks inside the Z-4 speakers. Logitech Z-3 Speakers Sub-woofer: Yup not a real speaker... using a passive speaker. The real one is only 3 inch width. My guess is to emulate a larger speaker from a small one.. which reduce the cost. And probably why the Logitech Z-2300 cost more then twice the price. Logitech makes their own speakers. Now the amplifying (other side of the sub-woofer): Yup, it's Labtec that does the amplifier :/ Wired remote. The black part is the headphone jack, next to it there the mechanical system that switched form speaker to headphone.. the whole thing is busted, and I need new speakers just because of that.
