   Just picked up a second hand EVGA GTX Titan X and wonder if the existing backplate will work with a EKWB block as I don't really want to purchase another backplate if I don't have to

   You can probably re-use the backplate but you will need to provide your own longer M3 screws. 6mm or 8mm ones should be fine since the standard EK ones are 4mm.
