I started this case last spring which got put on hold due to money and my wedding. After the wedding I started working on it again. I had decided to start all over as it was not working out how I wanted to. slipperyskip's builds have been the inspiration for mine. I am quite pleased with how it all turned out even with a few mistakes that I made.

I didn't do progress pics so I'm just posting the final pics.

    Specs:
    Asrock H77M-ITX motherboard
    Intel Pentium G620 CPU
    4GB AData RAM
    Muskin Chronos 60GB SSD
    PicoPSU Power Supply
    Slot Load BluRay Player
Inteset CIR Internal IR Receiver (working with Harmony 650 Remote)
    Phanteks PH-TC90LS CPU Cooler
    Windows 7 Pro
    MediaPortal HTPC Software

One fault in my design was lack of ventilation as I wanted a clean look to the whole thing. I have fine tuned the fan speed settings and it stays at a decent temperature.

As you will see in the pics, the bottom, and insides have a poor finish as I really didn't care what they looked like.

The entire case is made of MDF. The veneer is Spanish Cedar. The edge around the top cover is African Cedar.
I had never used veneer before, but after reading a lot online and especially slipperskips logs I was able to work with it quite well with very few mistakes that are hard to catch. Using raw unbacked veneer probably didn't help. lol It was cheap and worked out well so I'm happy.

I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking...

    Hey mate

Very nice, love the finish on it.

I'm thinking its mostly the placement of the IR Receiver, could be wrong though.

Yep, the hole with the brass ring around it is for the IR receiver.

I'd like to get some nice feet made for it yet. But its not a big deal.
