Folding On startup

    Hey guys propably a sinple question but is there any way i can get f@h to start up when computer starts up. As its not on 24/7 i cant just leave it on...

    i would leave a shortcut off the exe or batch file in the startup folder in the start menu

    That's a bit odd. Which OS are you using, and which clients?

    they are the system tray ones and im on vista prem 32bit. It jst wont let me drag and drop them in. Anything else is fine...

    I just got a batch file in my startup folder which runs all my GPU & CPU clients on my main rig, works fine :)

    right click on your start up folder in the start menu and click 'open' try drag and drop the shortcut into that window.

    Right click on the .exe and hold while selecting Start Menu >Programs >Startup, on release select COPY HEREand all should be fine on next reboot.

    On all my machines I just copy shortcuts to the startup folder.
    Turn off UAC if it's on.
    I also set mine to auto login in case they reboot in the night

    Do you have machines randomly reboot sas? My main rig will randomly does that for some reason and I cant work out why :(

    Used to but that was either heat, Vista's power settings, Automatic updates or dodgy hardware.
    The only time they reboot now is if we have a power problem in the server room
