Windows Looking to record Skype Video Conversations

    Any free or shareware software anyone would recommend?

    Or if its better what's the best program to just record a part of my screen?

    Strange as it may sound I actually had done several searches on this and didn't find anything that looked stand out that was also free, hence coming here a place I presumed might have some people in the know on and ask them if they might have a recommendation for one they had used that worked well.

    I used to use something called hypercam when I was recording stuff I was doing on my screen for uni stuff. I think if you use the free version (I didn't) you just get a little watermark at the bottom saying you used hypercam..... So if you just making recordings for your personal *library* (wink wink) then that should be fine

    i used to use playclaw, but since its been updated (v3) it only works "ok" in games. was actually better in previous 2.xx imo.

    Now i use bandicam, i find it rather good and very configurable :)

    it is about time we had software to block another person recording through programmes such as skype without permission.

    Completely impossible - a better rule is to not video chat with someone you don't trust.
