This isn't exactly a case modding question, but I don't know where else to put it. I'm working towards building an ROV some day and at the moment I'm using an underwater video camera that feeds it's own 4" display. Currently the camera and a flashlight are bolted to a 1" PVC pipe, but I know sooner or later this mess is going to get hung up on something and lost or broken. My next design idea is to mount the camera inside a piece of pipe, but that spawns a whole new set of issues, mostly having to do with space for lights. My thought is to cut a semi - circular piece of breadboard and solder on a bunch of high intensity white LEDs in parallel, then cast the whole thing in epoxy to make it waterproof and power it from the surface Does anyone have a better idea or insights on how this might work best?
