    Hi dudes,

I am not particularly bothered about physx but via a stroke of luck I now have a 5870 coming my way (currently using a gtx460).

I've become attached to the 460 so don't want to just remove it (and can't sell it because I don't officially own the 5870).

I'm using a p5k-e wifi-ap p35 motherboard which only supports 4 lanes on it's 2nd x16 pci-e slot. So my questions are:- are 4 lanes enough decently run a physx card? And, are there any complications when mixing an ati card with an nvidia one?

    Thanks! Z

4x PCIE lanes should be fine for running just Physx.

All you need to do, to get Physx running with a ATI card is download this

I had my HD5970's and 9800gt for Physx, and never in-counted any problems.

    Cheers,

    Simon.
