Any reason why the Surface Pro 2 wouldn't be party to some increased framerate action? Since the i5 in here is identical to the i5 in the Pro 3?

Would that not come under 'other Haswell-based portables' as per the article? ;)

Why yes, yes it would :p

Downloading now, although I have no legacy benchmark data to compare it to!

EDIT: Install failed on my Surface Pro 2, looks like I'll have to wait for the Microsoft sanctioned version to become available though Windows Update :(

EDIT #2: Managed to install it manually from the device manager using the ZIP verison of the driver. It worked :)

Hopefully this includes MBP's running Haswell/Iris. Would be nice to get any boost for DOTA and Civ 5, I guess we have to wait until Apple releases them in an update as Intel has no OS X downloads :(

trying to do the same thing with my sp2, downloaded the zip, extracted it to a folder, then done a update via device manager and pointed it to the folder, to which it says i already have the latest version? strange :/ did you do anything out of the ordinary to get it working?

You need to point it to kit64ib.inf file in the Graphics subfolder of the unzipped driver.

    Very, very true Kev :D
