Can you build a trackball for under £35 yep you can so parts arrived weeks ago and have sat there in a box till i decided to pull my finger out so I have 1X and 3X (2 black 1 red) digging around work I found a 90deg off cut off ally 240 x 160 with aprox a 70mm bend first idea was to have the track ball be the front standing leg for supporting few holes later I had after dry fitting the ball and marking mounting holes it was very uncomfortable to use so this version got scraped
