Scratch Build – In Progress Project Slow

    Ok after 6 months better try and put some order to some pictures that have been posting.
    With lot of old bits floating around my pit and some stuff from work decided to build my self a Nas / small server (not decided yet).

    On Side note as everyone says this this is the first case I have ever try to build bit of a learning curve and alot of reading to be done.

    With a Quick chat with the powers that be a rather large sheet of 2mm stainless steel was aquired

    Plates cut down tacked and started to tig together cube

    Tig Welds sanded clean

    8mm Perf mesh cut to size

    Mesh and Fan Mount

    Looks as if its going to be a Mini itx build? with a 120mm fan?

    aluminium so much nicer than stainless steel but not as forgiving

    Wonted to keep the Hdd tray and the MB tray as one so bit more marking and some M5 tapping sorry forgot to take some pics.

    cutting the M5 bolts down I nicked the MB plate but it wont be seen another one to put down to stop rushing and pay attention

    That IS small! What a pack! It's impressive when every single centimetre is organized to fit properly! Great Job!

    :D thanks Ra6 could be about 70mm smaller but what you get for rushing and not planning.
