    I wish they would make 12GB/s SAS DDR3 drive instead in 64GB+ capacity.

    Since when 12Gb/s equals 4.8GB/s (as stated in the third paragraph)?

    Don't look at me - those figures are direct from Hitachi. You and I both know that 12Gb/s = 1.5GB/s, but Hitachi reckons its demo will be running at 4.8GB/s and I don't have enough details to claim otherwise.

    I'll be watching to see what they're actually showing off on the 9th, though...

    It could be like the Revodrives with multi RAID SSD's, that'd saturate that connection...

    If there's no surprise, 4.8GB/s should refer to 2x lanes bi-directional aggregation with 12Gb/s data rate each lane, each direction (TX or RX).
