Possible I have seen all the stargates except the destiny one,. Seen all the star trek films and Enterprise and Voyager series. Could get started on the original series but thinking of something newer.

B5 is awesome. Battlestar remake is also brilliant. Stargate is in my list of series to watch from start to finish.

Currently watching other series. Warehouse 13 isn't exactly sci fi but great.

I loved all the stargate series, top notch, can't believe stargate universe got cancelled tho :(

    Couldn't get into warehouse 13

What's contiunuum like? are the effects decent? nothing worse than a sci-fi with an effects budget of £10 :D

Vote for Bablyon 5, absolutely epic IMO, but don't worry about the feature films (except for the one which is essentially a prequel, showing the war which started it all).

Other things which I've watched and loved over the years:

    A Town called Eureka
Pretty much any Star Trek once through, DS9 probably my fave, avoid Enterprise, disappoint :(
    Star Gate SG1
    Battlestar Galactica remake
    Heroes, first couple seasons anyway

    Currently watching:

Repeats of Eureka from s1 up on Syfy, you've missed some atm but it'll come back around
Alphas, not sure what to make of it yet

    On my to do list:

Continuum, if its any good, starts 26th on Syfy

Out of the five Trek series those are the worst by far. Everyone should watch original series Star Trek at least once. Deep Space 9 is also very enjoyable, but takes a few seasons to really get going. Next Generation hasn't aged so well in my opinion but still has some classic episodes.

    For other shows I'd recommend:

    Babylon 5
    Battlestar Galactica
    The X-Files
    Blakes 7

Saw Prometheus lastnight. It's good but nothing to shout about. Should have being an 18, should have had more aggression, violence. Felt like it was lacking something, maybe that was it, not sure.

The Alien ship and the Aliens looked great and so did the massive telescope? Not sure what it is, even from the Alien films.

The Alien vs Predator films are pretty awesome, if you haven't seen them yet.
Also +1 for the BSG series.

Not really sci-fi but I would thoroughly recommend watching 'Suits' as it's really really good.

If you liked Firefly why not try Dollhouse? It's also Joss Whedon Sci-Fi

Tron: Uprising was a surprisingly good animated show (only 6 eps + a special out so far)

Adding my support for the previously mentioned:
    Eureka
    BSG

And while it's not Sci-Fi per se, The Big Bang Theory is a worthy comedy with a science/geek bent to it.

another vote for farscape and dollhouse.

Farscape is mad but brilliant, with some of the best animatronics i've ever seem (it's made with the jim henson company). It also wins awards for some of the trippiest and bizarre episodes of any TV series.

Falling Skies is pretty good, Battlestar Galactica - amazing, V was good before it got cancelled!, Dollhouse was good, Red Dwarf is classic, Terminator: the sarah conner chronicles, Futurama, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Stargate Atlantis, Enterprise was getting good before they cancelled it, and the family guy starwars mini films are fun.
