    Hi @ all

it´s time for a new Log!

This build will be done for MSI. The Case will be used to promote the new MSI Big Bang Fuzion Motherboard Series on the Cebit this year (and as far as i know - after that it will be given away :D to a lucky one)

    But more to that later.....

The Motherboard which will be used features great stuff like the Hydra Technology which let the user use any combination of ATI and/or Nvidia video card.

We like that feature that much, that we decided to use the Hydra also for our theme...
so after a lot of research we finally found a nice grafic which we will use for our mod.
The Casemod will be build upon a Coolermaster ATCS 840 so that we will have enough free room for 3 watercooling loops and some other nice stuff :D

We already started with a cutout of the MSI Letters in the Front....beside that we made a raw template for our hydra and tested how we will place it on the case.....but now enough of the words ...here are the first pics....

^ you wait a couple of years for the tech to get the bugs worked out
then you have a game crunching ATI card with a PhysX NVIDIA card :D

    thx a lot m8´s

today its time for the first update....:thumb:

For the Top of the ATCS we thought that a a construction of sheds/ribs would look good and would match our theme perfect...therefor we cut out the first parts out of white plexi (but the color will change) to see how it will look like in real.....

    thanks a lot mates!!!

in the last days we spent the most of our time for those little parts of the mechanic.....but they had to be done....so that we can continue with the next part....

beside that we continued the disassembling of the case so that we can start the metall work as soon as possible...therefore we already prepared a first cutout in the bottom of the case....above that we will place a 240 mm Radiator (overall there will be 2x240 & 2x120 integrated)

yesterday we made the cutout for the radiator in the bottom, so that it can be placed in front of the PSU....after that we also shortened one side of the hdd drive cage so that we don´t get problems with it.....beside that we also tested if the calculated distances between the small plexi pieces are correct....just to see that we made a small mistake in the calculation....but it was good that we tested it ...that way we can make the final pieces with the correct distances and don´t have to make them twice.....:thumb:

After cutting out out the bottom for the radiator....we continued with the Top of the Case and cutted everything away which would disturb the mechanic for the Top Sheds/Ribs...

Beside that we also started to build a triple Laing Pump Top for our 3 WC Loops....

thx m8!! we really hope that it will look good when its finished

in the last days we prepared the next layers for the Laing Top, the first 2 (black) layers are already glued together....for the fittings we made small risers with threads in it so that we gain a little bit height....

beside that we also prepared the first parts for the reservoirs which will be used for the 3 WC Loops....to match the Ati/Nvidia Colorscheme we thought we bend some 3 Plexi DNA´s 1 in red 1 in green and 1 mixed for the Fuzion :D

In the last 2 days we finished the work on the triple Laing Top...

beside that we glued all the small red parts to the sheds for the top of the case....that way we can easy measure all distances between the holes to make the last parts of the mechanic....

we also got the pumps....and we decided which cpu cooler we will use....:D

    thx a lot m8´s

oh they are selfmade.....but just drop me a pm if you´re interested in them :thumb:

yesterday we finished the work on the laing top, all 3 pumps are mounted, before we could mount them we had to drill the original mounting holes a bit deeper so that we could use 30mm screws, but now everything is fine....

beside that we prepared the top of the case for the shed/rib construction.....
