I'm not sure on the CPU cooler and I already have a 512GB OCZ Vertex 4 that will be going toward the build. In the future I'll also be getting a Blackmagic Decklink Quad capture card, but that's rather specialist, and doesn't add (in the grand scheme of things) much to the power draw. A 7950 might be quicket than the Nvidia card for the same money. However apart from that you're definately in the ball park of having a great system. I'm just waiting for the cash to build mine.
Forgot to mention in the original post the reason I went for nvidia (other than the fact I'm a fan boy) is a lot of the editing software I use has CUDA acceleration
Can you wait until, say, ~June? I would buy your memory ASAFP because prices are going to go nuts when LGA1150 launches (there is a huge shortage of premium ICs) and then save it for the new platform. You maybe get Z77 MB price drops but the K series LGA1555 CPUs will quickly go out of stock (if not next month so be careful). First news of new Z87 MB should hit within 1 month of now, so you can see if there's anything new you would use (we have tons of new features as you'd expect, and a brand new TUF board). Haswell OCing (see Anandtech) and early performance has already been leaked. Don't take the performance figures published as golden though - everyone is still working on drives and BIOS even now. PS: That Thermalright cooler is huge! See in one of the pictures you'll need low-profile memory though.

Thanks for the input guys. Bindibadgi, I'm afraid to say I'm currently steering clear of ASUS when I can because of some pretty shonky customer service I'm currently receiving with my laptop! Should be covered by the memory. In terms of what I'm planning on doing is Haswell really going to be worth the wait? I'm not planning on OCing memory, and I only really want a modest OC on the CPU. Short of adding a billion extra PIe3.0 lanes on your cheapest mobo I really can't see what there is I'd miss. Unless you're saying there may be price drops, then that's something I can get on board with!! Thanks docodine, certainly something to think about. From your experience of dealing with LGA2011 (your sig rig) is it better, worse or about the same as 1155?
Fair dos, no need to wait then LGA2011 ~ LGA1155 - same. Former potentially has an upgrade path, depending on your wallet.
just so im correct reading this : Buy RAM now and do the rest later for any system upgrade as prices will Rise come june time etc ?
Ongoing rises afaik. No supply increase to offset it I can see, but demand will jump when Haswell launches.
