Those were released about a year after the Acer....

    Nice thread digging though. :p

Edit: Mods, after checking his other posts he's either a clever bot or an extra from Armstong & Miller.

I agree with your point about having not met an acer fan before. Every acer I've bought has had something wrong with it. The first one, a compact PC, had a fan that was WAY too small to cope with the heat it put out. (Then again, I did use it for gaming, but there's no excuse for poor cooling.) And yes, I did say it had A fan. As in, one. For a PC with a relatively high-end desktop processor and HDD. Turrible heatskink, too..

The second one was a laptop. It still (sorta) works, but sans USB ports (which broke during normal use). It's also very slow, and gets hot easily. It's my dad's, though, and he's not willing to let me take it apart and clean it... Haha.

Anyway, even though the new Acer products may (possibly) look good, I've had enough bad experiences with the brand to be skeptical of them; I tend to look elsewhere when I buy a system.

I had that netbook, the hinges came apart to the point it became unuseable. It's shelved pending some project that I can use the guts in. Left a bad taste in my mouth concerning Acer, YMMV.
