Less than £50. Nobody in my family is religious in any way, so we just give a few presents to the kids in the family and that's about it. No tree or anything.

    Nice :thumb:

400 or so on presents for others and I seem to be ordering myself a new machine too so another 700 on top of that, though it's not strictly xmas!

    Ouch!

Don't know how much it'll end up at, but it'll be nowhere near what it has been in previous years. Plenty of belt-tightening in the Spreadie household this year already, and more to come.

Not sure this year, but way more than a few years ago when; my dad got a new bubble for his spirit level, my mum a new eye for her needle, my brother a new resonance chamber for his guitar, etcetera. That was a particularly bad year, but I've never set myself a budget, and I've never felt bad about spending either a little or a lot on people, as long as it makes them smile - so far, mission accomplished.

Pretty much all of it has/will be paid for by pre paid credit cards I have gotten for free. Otherwise it would be around $400 for me and my wife.
We also spent $100 to get albums made from our wedding a few months ago for our parents.
