    Hey all,

Failing to find anyone selling RAM in the for sale threads :( so .. what's the cheapest (but reliable) RAM that you can put in a socket 1155 motherboard (The Asus P8Z68-v Pro/Gen3 if it matters)

Would be looking for 8,16, or 32GB sets.

    thanks in advance!

Thanks :) The 32GB set is sooo expensive :/

Any reason you'd not use cheaper? (I've got no intention of OCing it or anything)

I've used Corsair before so I know they're reliable and they have a lifetime warranty. OcUK have a broader range of manufacturers so i've had a look there too:

    8GB 1600MHz 1/2/3/4/5 (all £53.99)

    16GB 1600MHz 1/2 (both £107.99)

    32GB 1600MHz

Those are the cheapest ones I can find and they are a bit cheaper than Scan. It also looks like most, if not all of the OcUK ones offer a lifetime warranty too. To be honest, I think as long as it's branded, it should be fine.

Agreed. Don't go buying some unnamed 'value' RAM from a local shop.

Crucial Value RAM is fine, and also has a lifetime warranty.

Mkay! Noted - was going to maybe look at the value stuff (no cool heat spreaders etc) - was just worried it would be sucky.
