    I can't celebrate until this weekend, and partner and I are working during the week.

    We'll make up for it though. Turkey, Mash, Stuffing, Candy yams & Pumpkin pie. :)

    Happy thanksgiving, or as I prefer to call it, happy lets pretend turkey is more than cheap rubbish used to substitute when even reformed watered down pork is too expensive day.

    Just ordered a takeaway for dinner in light of both the Mrs and I being snowed under with work.

    I did bring some pumpkin brownie mix back from the US a few weeks ago though, will feast this weekend.

    Oh they are!

    Obviously we use sweet potatoes here in the UK, but the result is pretty much the same.

    I highly recommend cooking them around a nice ham.

    That way you get the sweetness of the yams (marshmallows) with the savory and salty taste from the ham.

    They work perfectly together.
