the other day i made a keychain out of my old AMD K6-2 350Mhz

    May it rest in piece(s)
i busted it trying to get it's cover off
    hee hee ;)

i also have a keychain from the cover from my AMD K6-2 266
it's cool with all it's laser engraved goodness

at the risk of scratching my scanner....

    here's my set :)
the bottle opener is actually silver, it just went into stealth bomber mode when i scanned it and reflected all the light away from the scanner pickups (!)

the 1 mb simm (30 pin, for an apple) is from when 1 meg was a LOT, and cost even more than a lot (£200 to £300)

im doin my k6/2 450 soon.

cybajosh, the best way to get the alluminium plate off a k6-2 is to get a scalpel and cut thru the epoxy glue (on every corner of the plate) which holds the plate on. use a heated blade too as to make it easier to cut thru. once the glue is cut thru, it just pops off with no effort :)

i got a couple of simms on my keys too :)
