The Winner is? We have decided that the winner is ..... can you feel the tention ... KNA. We were very impressed at HG Norphy's entry (great mess), but we felt that it was more of a general mess than actual cables. Lottery? Whats that? The one we run over here has a first prize of £50,000 Pants. Missed the post today, the power on site at work went tits up and crash our UPS. I couldn't slope out to the Post Office. I will post it out tomorrow.
Ahh, that's prompted me to remember something. Why do UPSs crash and don't do their job? I thought that they were ment to protect your computer from spikes, surges and power failures. They spent a few hundred pounds on one at school/college (whatever they're calling it now) and less than a second of power failure and the server was FUBAR.
UPS Luckly nothing got toasted. We are still trying to get the bottom of it, we have a generator test once a week. This kicked in at the same time aslo a monitor went pop at the same time. I'll keep you posted. KNA its in the post
Sorry Spawny (is it Gib or Spawny or..err.. help ), been a lickle busy atm.. Yeah, I did get them (thanks very much!) and my tidying up is in progress.. Cable tidy's used as requested!! I should be done this week.. where would you like the pix posted?
