Under Dennis the poor hamsters were really struggling, I think now that we are under Hexus someone's forgot to feed them.

Yeah, the sites running slow here too as well as some odd rendering of the top and bottom banners.

I keep getting this on chrome, usually when trying to post/reply -

I thought it was due to adblock acting up but even after removing it, it keeps doing it...

I'm hesitant to post this, 'cos whenever I do I get jumped on by people who assume I'm talking for The Man and denying there's a problem, but here goes: as Just Another Forum User, I'm not seeing the problem here. The site's nice and speedy, the footer is in the right place, everything's hunky-dory. Viewing with Firefox 33.0 on Linux, Firefox 33.0 on OS X, Chrome on Android 4.4.4, Chrome 39.0.2171.52 beta on Linux, Chrome 38.0.2125.111 on Linux, logged in to the forums or logged out. It's all good - except for the problem seen in Yoda's screenshot of the top bar overlaying the advert, which only seems to happen in certain window sizes.

I am seeing bad gateway errors when trying to link through to news stories, which usually fix upon a reload or two, but none of the above. I wonder what the difference between our setups is?

EDIT: I've even tried my Windows 8 virtual machine: still no problem. The adverts aren't blocked, but Flash isn't installed so they're not showing; ignore the date and time, that's just when I last saved the virtual machine's state!

Don't get me wrong, its not every instance of a page loading that it happens and as IOS on phones and ipads is full screen regardless I don't think windows has much to do with it. Its an odd one for sure, nothing of great issue, only an annoyance when you have to render a page again.

the bad gateway error however seems to happen in what I can only assume in peak times. Early morning, lunch and evenings. Any other times I seem to be issue free but that could just be coincidental.

I wonder whether it's one of the adverts that's causing the issue somehow? As andrew says above, it's not on every page, perhaps only on about 10-20% of pages, but I haven't really noticed any common theme. It's almost always fixed on a page refresh.

I'd rather keep my clothes on, if it's all the same... :worried:
