Scratch Build – In Progress "CNPC" - Cheap PC and CNC components all in one case

    Hello, This is first time i'm post in this forums. Any comments , recommend are welcome.

    Project description :: This case build for put CNC component and PC components together.

    Why i need to put everything together?
    - 1 year ago i design and build my own CNC machine but the electronic components didn't have enclosure yet and after finished build machine my old PC was dead so need to brought new one, so i need to put it in same case together.

    - MB - Asus M5A78L-MLX
    - CPU - AMD ATHLON II X2 250
    - Ram - Kingston 2Gb x 2 DDR3 1066
    - HD1 - OCZ Agility 60GB (Second hand)
    - HD2 - Western Green SATAII 500GB (Second hand)
    - VGA - HIS 6670 1GB DDR5 (Second hand)
    - PSU - RaidMax RS530 530watt
    - Monitor - Sharp 17" LCD (Second hand)
    - CDROM - Asus (Second hand)

    CNC Electronic components ::
    - 3x Stepper motor driver JMC M542
    - 3x Terminal Block
    - 1x DB25 BreakOut Board
    - 6x 8mm 12v Fan
    - 1x Switching PSU 24v 15A
    - 1x Switching PSU 12v 5A
    - 1x Switching PSU 5v 5A
    - 6x Fuse block
    - 1x VFD Spindle Inverter

    - Case size 60 x 40 x20cm

    - Frame use aluminium profile 20x20mm
    - Acrylic 6mm

    How thickness is the acrylic do you use in the mod?

    Did you mean table top of CNC? (if i miss understand please tell me)
    My table top of CNC using aluminium profile and working area of my CNC machine 64cm x 55cm x 15cm (X,Y,Z axis).

    For acrylic , i use 6mm because it fit to slot of aluminium profile.

    the surface looks like it's either 1020 or 1530 aluminum extrusions bolted down against the cross members of the cnc router machine.

    been looking at your logs at cnczone... very nice build indeed.

    building a CRP2448 myself.

    perhaps later, you can give me some pointers on spindles...

    Nice to see my first SU model used in this thread... It's the SSD... Did you download it from http://scc.jezmckean.com ?

    Anyway - awesome project... Building the CNC also... :thumb:

    For model i download it from there and other component like CNC part and Asus motherboard i just drawing but some components i download from there too.

    Today i went to shopping and some part just finish but not much thing i can do, a little update.

    Then i just resolve my hole of PSU on right top , it not fit when test it need 1mm left , so i need to fix it and just finish design my PC card slot cover.
