    Right folks,

Need to take the missus out on Valentines and iv exhausted practically every place within Leicester.

So im looking to branch out and try places that may be a little further from home. We went to Loughborough to Thai Grand which was nice and dont mind going to another place thats not particularly that far.

Anyone able to recommend me a good place to eat within the Leicestershire Area that they have tried?

Sorry, but I'v never been there, but sadly, that dosen't stop me from making a reference to Moss, from "The IT Crowd":
I went to a good place recently. Nice atmosphere. Food's great, It's called Messyjoes....

unless you have seen the "Fifty-Fifty" episode that really makes no sense, does it?

Woah dude, you've kinda left it late if you want to book somewhere nice. I reckon most of the nice places will be booked up by now. But still try out your luck you never know. I don't know any good places in Leicester but if you're willing to drive up the road I'd be happy to recommend a few nice places in Nottingham.

+1, it's easier, cheaper and more romantic.

    Not Derby.

Much better idea, unless you've already done it a lot before..

    There's a few around .
In Oadby there's a pub called the Cow & Plough and has won a few awards for their food. Its a farmhouse type pub with a really nice looking eating area . A Little pricey but well worth it as all the meat and veg is organic and locally grown.

A trip into Leicester City might be worth it as the new Highcross Shopping centre has a few nice places to go including a very nice Indian Restaurant , Tapass and a couple of nice Italians as well as the new luxury cinema to finish off with.

I carnt think of more off the top of my head but message me and ill have another think.:thumb:
