Can they be mounted at an angle ranging from 45 to 80 degrees without affecting performance?

    Ta in advance...

I had an array of six at an angle of about 60 degrees held together by two bits of plexi in an old build. They worked for years quite happily. But tbh hadn't even contemplated if it would be bad for their health.

If by saying HDs you mean HDDs, there is no problem in which angle you put them unless you don't move them while working! ;)

Yup. They can put in any way you want. Good HDD has a balancing system and other fancy systems to make it possible. As long as you don't move the HDD while operating, it's all good.
