This. Bacon is pink with a white edge, not the opposite. He is eating pig fat with a tiny strip of muscle, which has a time and a place but ain't bacon. Also, 30,000 calories is about 3.5 kg of lard.

Bingo! Wow thats some serious calorie calculation there. I can't eat during the day when fasting, just makes me more hungry. i'm not so strict either. i'll drink coffee all day (ignoring the tiny amount of calories from the milk) then eat something approx 600 calories in the evening, either a small portion of whatever everyone else is having or beans on toast. or hoops/spaghetti/ravioli. Just discovered these really good frozen meals in Aldi that are 300-350 cal and only £1.50. Healthy stuff too not crap! lol
With all the warm weather, I haven't been hungry at all lately. In fact its 11.58am and I still haven't eaten breakfast!
This is one point which isn't covered in the Book. To switch the body to repair mode, do you require a period of not eating, ie between breakfast/dinner, or can you snack on the same calories throughout the day?
I'm not sure. i think from the weight loss perspective it doesn't matter, but i think it may do for switching to repair mode. will check the book my mum has. may also be worth watching the horizon they did on it, might be in there.
