Video software and codecs
Hi all,
I have many different video files on my win 7 PC that don't work on my Macbook Air. Some are .wmv, some .avi and some even .mov Can anyone recommend an easy way to convert files from one type to another that doesn't reduce quality? I'm happy to pay for the software, but free is obviously better! I have tried converting wmv to mov with VLC player on my win7 machine, but the output files are of poor quality and sometimes won't even work on VLC player on the macbook. I am thinking I need a better/new codec on the macbook - any tips? Cheers |

Try using Handbrake to convert files to mp4. This will play on macs.
