Hello there, Long time reader of the Bit-Tech site, and regular forum reader. I'm looking for some help identifying an LED Sign board I recently acquired and didn't know where else to start asking/looking for help. I'd like to identify it because it currently lacks a power supply and a method of input. From what I know, the sign was removed from a call center several years ago. The sign has no visible branding, part or serial numbers except for: A little white sticker on the back by the connectors: "7352 00" but could possibly be "7352 DD" The physical size of the sign is 96cms in length and 11cms in height. With a visible LED sizing of 91.5cm by 5.5cm. LED's are 7 rows by 120 columns. The case of the sign is metal with plastic end caps. One end has a few different connectors: Input for a 3.5mm TRS Jack labeled Serial, a 5.5mm barrel connector labeled Power, a rectangular 14 pin socket for what looks like a ribbon cable labeled Keyboard Cable.
Stripped the Unit down and found: Data Display DL210-04. Now to find what PSU it needs and how to program it lol.
Got exactly the same model with 9VAC power supply. Inside is HD6303RP processor running at 4.9152 mhz, so serial must be RS232 witn 300/1200/9600/76800 baud. But I got no soft for that either ... More markings at led panels - DATA DISPLAY DL210-04 SHIP SM-1 D9511 On processor board - SHIP SM1 D9649 on other side - DLPTSC REV 5.0 Would also be happy for any further info.
I know it been a while since someone posted to this post. But we have 2 of the same LED sign. And no power supply, tried a few but cant get it to work properly. Was wondering what kind of mA your power supply has? Also did you found a way to program it ?
