I like the aesthetics but doesn't the size of the thing defeat the point of the mini itx format factor? I know it's not massive, but surely the format factor suggests that the most important thing to the people this is aimed at is size?
I saw this on lian lis' facebook page, and thought and still do think, that big clear plastic window is asking to be modded with a Monitor screen.
Looks like they've really taken the mini-ATM form to heart... Saw this a while back when it was announced, looked awful then, looks awful now. Would be nice if Lian-Li decided to get their heads out of the clouds.
I saw this a month or so ago, and wasn't overly impressed with it. Kind of an odd design to be honest. I believe this was shown at Computex as well xD
It was teased prior to Computex, but with no details - literally just a couple of pictures - and no confirmation it would be coming to the UK, or how much it would cost. I figured people would want actual details, hence waiting for the official UK announcement which popped into my in-tray this morning. And yes: I thought it looked daft then, and I still think it looks daft. I'm sure it'll sell reasonably well, though - it is certainly eye-catching!
Even though I can't see myself buying one, kudos to Lian Li for doing something literally out of the box. They make good boxes, and they also occasionally release something that makes you re-consider what it is to be a case.
