Hey- thought i would post some picceys of my watercooled wavemaster project (first 4 replies are simple cut & paste) My work area in Spare Bedroom- Notice c**p everywere. My Wavemaster in all its Naked glory- (dont take the piss for holes and cut on top- using a hole saw and a laser Arcylic cutter to make a top for it- Side on goodness NexXxos Extreme dual Radiator and Hiper Type-R 580W Modual PSU- Frount view (cathode switch and Rad)
Looks like it's coming along. On a side note, what type of VW is that you got there I noticed it was a TDI but i couldn't tell the make. VW's rock the house!
I'm in the same boat with you on this, I have to fit a dual 120mm rad and the shorter version of your res to fit in the same case, i'm going to start chopping bits out tonight on the PSU bracket so I can fit it in, i'm glad I dont have a modular PSU but it was something I was planning on getting eventually, i'll probably have to consider a "what if" incase I find out the I dont have enough room. The game is The Eton Wall Game Its played along the length of the wall between a tree and a door, which are the goals, to my recollection (and wikipedias help) theres one big game a year on St Andrews day, and scoring is frankly rare. IE, the last goal on St Andrews day was in 1909 but apparently there were some goals in warmup games in 2005 (all hail the Wikipedia Eton Wall Game Page ) Case looks good too
Here's my efforts, I still have a little more to do like make the cut in the top of the case and fully mount the rad, plus there is a teeny weeny leak on one of the radiators barbs so i'll get that sorted tomorrow along with the cut. http://www.doomedpc.com/files/Max/DSCF1782.JPG
Some do, some dont- I only like it cos my brother is in the team, and i get sto see him get badly hurt--- ooohh....sick pleasures.
right, for all of you that havn't read the Discussion- the sport is the Eton Wall Game- Not much done recently- all the WC stuff has been removed and now, ive re-drilled the holes and moed them further forwards- so, time for a custon cover- YAY!
Some pictures would be awesome. Fitting a bix2 into a Wavemaster certainly is a P.I.T.A. I finally got everything stuffed into my wavemaster for now but it needs fixing. It wouldn't be so bad except for the aluminum piece on top and the bend in the top cover when prevent the rad from sliding forward that extra cm. Looking forward to some pictures.
