Should I ignore the 'Midi' cases and focus on the Full Tower?

Some prefer the Cooler Master HAF series, thus is this Cooler Master HAF 922 Black ATX Case RC-922M-KKN1-GP suitable or should it be the HAF 932?

What do you mean by open watercooling install ? What is you watercooling requirements (size and number of rad, etc.) ? What is your budget ?

Purchase a budget non-water cooled system with a big n easy case and find someone to put non-closed watercooling.

You mean you don't want a simple sealed unit cooler like the Corsair H70 etc...?

Absolutely I am not interested in them as they are closed, self-contained though closed for putting chosen coolant.

Watercooling out of the box with no dremel :thumb:

Lian-li offer spare top panel for their cases that allow top mounted rad

Thats the way you want to go if you want to do simple hassle free watercooling. Masses of space for anything. There's many pics in my thread (in sig) which is also a must if your new to watercooling...

"....However, one feature in particular is near impossible to live up to: external dual radiator support. Just because a case has two grommets to allow watercooling tubes through does not mean it supports two radiators. If someone really wanted to constrain themselves, they could attach radiators to the side, top, or rear fan grills. Attaching radiators there isn't really 'radiator support' though; it is simply feature duality, and almost quashes the idea that this can be a watercooling case out of the box.... "

Please, learn to use the edit-button instead of spamming five messages in a row.

Maybe instead of asking us about the case, you should ask the "someone" who's going to install the water cooling? With the lack of specs, it's impossible for us to really tell the best case. And if someone's going to remove the warranty on those parts anyway, why not just pay him to also build the rig in the first place?

EDIT: All in all so far this thread is completely incomprehensible, from what I could understand you are buying a budget-build pre-made somewhere (why?) which you want someone to watercool (why?) and sealed systems are out of question (why?). What are the specs, how many radiators you need, etc. MORE DETAILS. just think if over and post one message that actually contains the required specs..

I can't even make sense of this thread...

For a 'cheap' case, get the Elysium, for something a bit more, the 800D or TJ07.

You might manage a 240mm rad in the roof. Remove the drive cage and you'll get a chunky 120mm in there too.

Looks a bit tight though - not an awful lot of room between the roof and the motherboard.
