Currently have a MSI GTX 970 for 1080p 60fps gaming, in high/v high/ultra, obviously depending on the game. Seen the releases of this years new gpu's so far and am I right in thinking that it's not worth upgrading to any of them? If so, any idea what nexts years line-up will have in store, especially in relation to 1440p/4k gaming. Thanks.
Whether it's worth upgrading depends on how much cash you have to burn, really At 1080p, I personally wouldn't bother.
For 1440p 1070 or 1080. For 4k Titan X Pascal. Don't forget you can use Nvidia DSR to run higher resolutions now on your 1080p monitor. I'd probably go for the 1070.
