Tomshardware.com did a fairly decent one if your in need.
From what goodbytes has said, its not better than the 830.

I don't use BT for reviews anymore, half of them are to do with modding (not my scene, although I know some people like them), other bigger sites do them earlier and better.

Seems a lot faster from what I've seen. I've not really read the Tom's review yet though.

I believe it uses cheaper memory or something, hence why its cheaper.

There are two 840 models, the non-pro which has similar specs as the 830 and the pro which has much higher speeds.

We've both of these models in for review, and they'll be going up soon. Been a bit tight on deadlines, and I wanted to add some extra testing, hence the delay!

We reviewed 7 products in the last seven days chap, not sure what you're talking about!

Why not post a regularly updated review schedule so people can see when you'll be reviewing what? It could:

    • show you're being proactive and keeping your readers informed
    • mean people don't have to start threads like this, which you have to respond to, so taking you away from your reviewing
    • possibly cut down on some of the sarcy comments (longweight :p) which reflect poorly and possibly unfairly on bt
Just a suggestion. If you're doing this already perhaps you should think about highlighting its whereabouts to us.
