This is a bit of an odd one, the Girlfriend has since blown through two pairs of the cheap bundled Sony headphones that come with the Xperia S, and is looking for something a bit better sounding and a bit more resilient. The annoying thing is; she also wants the in-line play/pause button.

This limited my choices from "Anything reasonable" to "Annoyingly small/expensive range."

At the moment, the best comprimise i've found that isn't another set of cheap in-ear headphones are the Sennheiser HD 429i's, at £55.

Any help with this would be appreciated. It seems the majority of headphones for mobile listening are built for Ipods and similar, thus the controls won't work with Android.

I think it will be worth just buying proper headphones.
She will get used to the better quality :)
