Replaced the LED in the CPU block. Now I am contemplating replacing both 480's with a single 7970 with waterblock. The 480's are heating up the loop and making the CPU to IDLE at 50 degrees C.

Instead od replacing those GTX 480's you should consider making dual loop.

You can istall 240 mm rad in front and 120 mm in the top of the case.

There is no room for extra radiators except for a 120 up top but I suppose I could place a radiator on top of the 540 rad?

If there is no room, make it. ;)

But you can also try with sandwich rads if you use slim ones.

Ah ha! So your saying place another Magicool 540 rad on top of the three AP181's? The radiators have four ports at the end by the way. I will be sleeving the cables which will make them sit flat, so yes, i believe there should be room! :thumb:

    Hahaha

Anyway, how much of an improvement would I see if I used a second 540 rad? It will cost me $150...

Temps would be like 30-40 C for CPU and 40 C for GPU's in idle.

At the moment temps are 50-60 C for CPU and 40-50 C for GPU's in idle.
