Photos Forging A Sword From Wood

I made a sword for my daughter's halloween costume. It's based on the design used for Orcrist in the Hobbit movies, which has a cutlass sort of feel to it. My daughter was a pirate, so the sword works well for the costume, and it makes for an awesome Tolkein-inspired toy the rest of the year.

man that's awesome, I used to make swords out of wood when I was in my early teens as my dad was into woodwork and it kept me out of trouble. BUT... nothing close to that standard, bet your daughter was well impressed
