Excellent series so far, and good to see that you've opted for tools that are within everyone's reach. Not everyone can get access to CNCs, laser cutters, 3D printers, etc.

Although I didn't realise that a Dremel's routing bit would be that handy; now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense... I really will have to check which bits by dremel-clone came with (and whether it's the attachments I was using or the collets that are wonky...)

I never tried routing with a rotool before, looks effective. :)

    Great series.

I wouldn't have thought using a glue gun on acrylic would stick very well, especially around the USB ports. Anyway it was a nice little read, thanks BT.

The glue gun seems to have worked very well - we'll be keeping an eye on it, though. Thanks to everyone who's enjoying it so far!

Combatus, on a mostly unrelated subject, do you have any recommendations for cheap and cheerful cases for a WCing setup? Probably need at least a 360 or equivalent as the GPUs are SLI 480's.

Several spring to mind although a triple 120mm and budget don't usually go hand in hand! Also take a look at the case mod index - plenty of water-cooled cases in there such as this NZXT Phantom with a triple in the roof.

    Cooler Master ATCS 840
    Cooler Master Cosmos S

Many of the larger Corsair cases

Also this one by BitFenix looks like it might well fit a triple 120mm rad in the roof, if you're up for some modding and it only costs £37!

Antec 900 V3 or 902 fit a tripple in the front extended HDD bays.

This is going to be useful - hoping to do my first scratchbuild in the summer!

Looking good. The new ITX boards are rekindling my interest in making a small custom case since it will be useful.
