I will double check what I need to be able to try and get you the mates rates, on Monday and then I will let you know. If I remember correctly it's name and number, but will check with the Mates Rates team on Monday.
Thanks guys, just looking to get my internet upgraded really (10mb) - sky refused to do their fibre pro for £20 (to match plusnet etc) so just looking at certain options. @damien c that'd be great if you could. Thanks guys!
Anyone looking to take on all 3 (Home phone, TV, Broadband) service (Must be a new customer, or existing customer with 1 or 2 services already) 18 month contract term And looking to get mates rates, send me a PM and I can sort this for you. Of course I'll reply with all the details before sending your details. But ideally include: Full name Address Contact number e-mail address The mates rates team will be in touch and there's no obligation you don't have to take the deal if you don't want it. (Must be a new customer, or existing customer with 1 or 2 services already) If you already have all three (phone, TV & broadband) sorry, you can't get mates rates
Looked this morning and Keir is correct in the details needed, but cannot comment on the pricing as we are not supposed to be showing what the prices are in public.
If an existing customer with 1 or 2 services takes advantage of mates rates to get a bundle, do they have to pay installation fees?
Maybe if it was an upgrade to a more expensive package. Other than that no. However if you are near the end of min contract or past it, call them and threaten to cancel, then see what they offer.
I did that a few years ago and got £5 knocked off the bill each month and a free upgrade to 50Mb broadband from 30, to match existing customers at the time I guess.
Bit of an old thread bump, but moving house very soon and wondering if any other forumites can still sort out mates-rates bundles for a fellow bit-techer
If interested I have a Sky friends and family offer for new customers. The complete bundle for £25 per month for 12 months - normally £75 per month All standard and HD channels Sky Sports HD Sky Movies HD 1 x Sky + HD box You can add telephone/broadband if you wish at an additional cost.
Damn, wish I'd have seen this. Virgin should be getting installed on Tues, but they have yet to dig the street up.
Both the ongoing one, and the £25 per month one are for new customers only. Previously a new customer would be someone who hasn't had a Sky subscription in the past 30 days, however I believe this is now 12 months.
This sounds amazing (if huge overkill on what I need). The sky site is actually pretty confusing when it comes to bundling broadband and seem to treat it almost entirely separately!! Is there any discount way to add BB?
