I am planning a refresh of my PC. You may remember my last build, Project Abino.

Well this time I'm going for something a little more unique :)

I have the following items sat on my desk.

This is to paint my radiator frames etc.

The case I'm getting is very special, and I am planning to get it powder coated in orange also. The case I have ordered is full aluminium, which is already powder coated in black, but I'm having it stripped and done in orange powder coat.

Mick from Mayhems has kindly provided me 2 large bottles of Orange fluid for the w/c.
This build will be a slow and steady process, the case will take around 4-6 weeks to arrive I think.

    EDIT: 21/10/2013
Thanks to Bitfenix for the LED strips and orange coloured cables

A big thank you goes to Pascal at Aquatuning for sorting me out a great deal on the case. Well happy with it now :)
Thanks to Noise blocker for the support in the way of 20 x fans for my build

    So I got this unit

And took the bugger apart, it wasnt easy to get into the unit, I needed pliers as some of the screws were buggers! Mind you, your not meant to take them apart.

I removed the Antec logo plate from the PSU, I intend to glue this back on once finished.

Next job was to primer the PSU frame... but first I celotaped the rear part of the PSU frame as that has the connection info printed on it, I wanted to keep that info.

    Finally primer time

Finally while I was setup I decided to put on two layers of orange paint to the rad as the primer was dry now. I have done the top side, once dry I will flip it and spray the other side twice too...

The orange is looking good at the moment. Happy with it.

I'm not a big fan of the "brick wall" mesh parts, but other than that, I must admit that the case is looking really tasty.

With that said though, the layout is pretty much similar to the TJ-07, only a bit larger it seems and it's more "industrial" on the looks department. Without seeing this case in person and feeling the build quality for myself I'm not a 100% on this, but is it worth the price difference over a TJ-07 or something on the large side from Lian Li?

Also, is there a place for your freshly painted 240 rad on top since the lower compartment brackets seem to be for two 360s?

Anyways, keep up the good work! I'll be sure to check in on this from time to time and yes, you had me at the chosen color theme...

Your are getting the problem all mixed up.

The case is not too big. Your desk is too small. :)
