Personally for me it has to be Shattered Horizon which is probably one of my favourite games ever, even though I've only racked up a few hours so far so: Shattered Horizon - £13 - Great game and relatively cheap. Second place is my 24" Yurak(u) S-PVA which at £170 was an absolute bargain for £166 however it loses out because I don't feel like it's been an amazing purchace even though I know it is. (Has the 'u' fallen off for anyone else yet?) Yuraku 24" PVA - £166 - Good value for a 24", let alone a PVA panel So what have been your favourite purchaces last year?
I think mine would be... Glastonbury Tickets Lian Li A05 from Phinix, nice case as it was and it came modded with a nice bulgin switch and feet My Yuraku was a good purchase too, if not a little disappointing as I only got a TN panel. I do, however, have all the letters left!
I recently got a slightly used LG xenon off my buddy for 50 bucks. Big step up from my samsung j706 so now I can actually text!
Glastonbury tickets, probably. That or Varsity Ski Trip. For tech stuff definitely my new mouse - Logitech MX Revolution - great bit of kit.
Tickets to LeMans 2009. . Much more than a race, its a 5-day festival celebrating motorsport, beer and fire.
Refurbished mid '09 macbook white right as it got replaced by the current one £579 for something with similar specs to that of the 13" dell/hp/macs that cost £800 new.
Probably my Epiphone Dot Glastonbury tickets could possibly share the prize but I've only paid the deposit and it might turn out to be crap.
Computer-wise, probably the GD65 i got in the MSI promo (eventually) or the 3 275gtx and 1 4870x2 that i got for just over £350. Most of the year has been taken up with buying baby gear/toys etc...
dam that is a tough one. My A1 free standing drawing board for £20 on ebay was a total win had to collect it from a nice chap who just wanted rid of it. Brand new its £150 My current project case Lian li PC-70 collected off andrew8200 for £10 or something was awesome, loving the extra space its given me. either of those as they were the biggest possible savings i could have made considering there retail price or closest alternative product cost.
I went to Le Man 09, We were all in Orange or Blue shirts, with TVR Team Pailing on them, . There were 10 of us.
New tappets and timing belt for me little Corsa, can drive without being irritated by the 'tappety tappety click' noise lol That and feeling immensely proud of doing the work myself
I bought a gold 15k american chain on ebay for £50 and was offered £400 for it by the local jewellers not bad I thought
