Title say it all really but in case you didn't know Lenovo got caught installing rouge root certificates in February so it could serve up advertising to customers, it seems Lenovo weren't the only ones.

Although (afaik) not intended to serve up advertising Dell has now joined the install self-signed root certificate club, the private key appear to be identical on all affected Dell machines so anyone who has purchased a Dell Laptop in the last year or so may want to test if they have this root certificate on it. :(

Worth noting is it's thought to only effects Dell Laptops, and only Chrome and Internet Explorer.

EDIT: Dell issued a statement yesterday.

EDIT2: Here's a link that provides more details.

Nothing on my Dell (bought in February 2015). But then i installed a clean Windows 8.1 on it, then upgraded to 10.
